Abuja - The President of the Senate, Chief David Mark, has said that Nigeria may adopt the same harsh treatments being meted to her nationals by foreign missions in the process of collecting visa unless they start treating them with respect.

Senator Mark bemoaned the situation whereby Nigerian travelers are subjected to all kinds of humiliations by foreign missions before granting them visas, adding that such treatment could frustrate mutual cooperation between the two countries.

Abuja - The British High Commission in Nigeria has has lifted the restrictions on its visa service with respect from Tuesday July 22, 2008.

The High Commission’s office in Abuja, through a press statement signed by Oladele Oladokun of its Public Affairs section said on Wednesday, that the resort to implementation of the restrictions on its service was due to unavoidable technical problems at the Deputy High Commission in Lagos.
