Sango-Ota (Ogun) - The Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, planted an average of seven branches of the church per day in the past one year and also spread its tentacles to five nations per day.
Disclosing this outstanding statistics, was the General Overseer of the church, Pastor E.A. Adeboye, at the ongoing 56th annual convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God holding in Ota.
Also at the convention, not fewer than five people who were once restricted to their wheel chairs and strung to their crutches now walk around as they have finally received healings.
Abeokuta - The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has declared that it will continue to attach much importance and put in resources for the development of sports in the country.
This assertion was made by Pastor Olu Banure, Special Adviser to the General Overseer of the church, Pastor E.A. Adeboye, at the closing ceremony of the maiden edition of the Redeemers International Sports Festival at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abeokuta.
According to Pastor Banure, the General Overseer has taken particular interest in the sports development initiatives of the church “since sports plays a vital role in our national life, especially as it relates to the development of the youths.”

Ibadan - The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, on Sunday prophesied that the lives of people would improve, but warned them not to toy with the mercy of God.
Pastor Adeboye, who made the prophecy while preaching at Covenant Sanctuary Mega Parish of the church, Oluyole Industrial Estate, Ibadan, Oyo State, charged people to move closer to God and rededicate themselves to Him.
The cleric described life as an admixture of fortune and misfortune, but affirmed that with God, the lives of those who moved closer to Him would be rising always.
He prayed that there would be sudden sunrise and sudden promotions in the lives of those who have chosen God as their saviour.
