Lagos - Frontline Octogenarian, Nationalist and Leader of the Pan-Yoruba socio-cultural group, Egbe Afenifere, Pa Abraham Adesanya, died yesterday peacefully at an old age of 85, around 12:30 pm in his Apapa, Lagos residence after having his breakfast.
Before his death, Adesanya had withdrawn from public functions for about four years now as a result of illness associated with old age. Sources said the late Afenifere leader did not betray any sign that his death was due, as he woke up yesterday as he was said to be fine and even cracked jokes with family members.
London (UK) - A really great man is known by three signs - generosity in the design, humanity in the execution, and moderation in success. This words by KOVS Bismarck, clearly exemplifies the man David Sola-Oludoyi, known to many as simply PDSO.
David Sola-Oludoyi, a Nigerian and an accomplished pastor of one of Europe’s largest church, Royal Connections London, a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), was born about forty years ago, March, 23 1968 in a small town in Kwara State, Nigeria. A man of destiny by all means, his beginning was rough, having been born into a struggling, but humble family.
I recently came across a video documentary on Mona’s weblog. It was a very interesting video exposé about one of the greatest cities in the world - Lagos. The documenatry showcased everything from population, security, tradition, governance, area boys, corruption, and the funny side of Lagos.
