Lagos - Adaeze Igwe has emerged as the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria after a well contested event involving 29 other girls from different states of Nigeria.
The annual event organized by Silver Bird Entertainment was held at the Expo Centre, Ocean View, Victoria-Island, Lagos and had several celebrity judges such as Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), Babatunde Funsho-Williams, Stephanie Okereke, Nadya Latova, Hakeem Muri-Okunola, and Lara Aromolaran.
Adaeze, an undergraduate of the University of Abuja, Nigeria, who respresented Anambra State, was obviously very elated when she was announced the winner of the coveted beauty peagant. She is now a proud owner of a brand new Hyundai car, in addition to a modest salary of one million naira (N1 million), endorsement deals, as well as a chance at the more prestigious Miss World pageant.
Crowd favorite and 1st runner-up, Miss Taraba, Stephanine Oforka, will represent Nigeria at the upcoming Miss Universe Beauty pageant.
Silver Bird promotions have been organizing the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria beauty contest since 1986 and has produced winners like Agbani Asenite Darego who went on to win the Miss World contest in 2001.

It is not right to call Munachi a mistake Big or Small, she competed against over 20 girls and won the crown…the crowd favourite and spot on!

how on earth could the MBGN be an undergraduate if she was a graduate she will find something better to do with her life than modeling . i don’t mean modelling is bad. by the way is Adaeze a christain if she is not i will like to lead her toCHRIST. THANKS

yes ada is a christian,y does she not look like one?i went to skul with her and she is a lovely and friendly person.she is chasing after her dreams and if that is a crime 2 any1 out there sorry 4 u.y ppl b happy 4 others eh stop hating n start lovin.gud luck up were all cheerin u on.

i think she deserved to win she’s beautiful, however the reward given could have been a one year trip abroad being pampered seeing the world, i mean a Hyundai car and 1 million n isn’t really a lot, i could buy myself a Hyundai if i wanted to. The organizers need to step their game up, and be a bit more original and creative and differentiate the competition from just being a soulless parade.
