THE just concluded Africa Cup of Nations in Ghana has been resplendent, with star performances from a wide variety of player won by Pharaohs of Egypt produced some outstanding players. However, no single Nigerian player from the Super “Chickens” lineup was listed.

Below are the list of Africa’s best for the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations final which had five Egyptians, two each from Cameroon and Ghana, and one each from Ivory Coast and Angola in the starting eleven.
