Adedibu now of good behavior - Police
Abuja - The Nigerian Police Force has given strong man of Ibadan politics, Chief Lamidi Adedibu, a clean behavioral report in the ongoing trial before an Abuja High Court.
At the hearing yesterday in Abuja, Counsel for the Commissioner of Police (CP), Collumbus Okaro, told the court that the accused person who was in court as pursuant to section 88(1) of the Criminal Procedure Code (CPC), has been of good behavior and that he has strictly complied with the conditions of bail.
As if to show that he is still very much in charge of the People’s democratic Party (PDP) machinery up to the highest quarters, Adedibu whose trial was adjourned to April 29, 2008, was accompanied to court by the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, Senate leader Teslin Folarin, Senate Committee Chairman on Appropriation, Senator Iyiola Omisore, Senators Kamarudeen Adedibu (Adedibu’s son) and Gbenga Babalola, Vice Chairman Senate Committee on Agriculture, Abiodun Olujimi.
