Soccer: Nigeria defeats Guinea 7:0

Abuja - Nigeria had seven good lessons to teach their Guinean counterparts in the ongoing Africa qualifier of the FIFA U-17 Women World Cup championship.

The first leg of the match which took place in Abuja, witnessed four goals in the first half, while the remaining three were recorded in the last half of the match, thanks to two good strikes each by Okoronkwo Grace and Oparanozie Ugochi. The trio of Ebere Ngozi, Nku Cecilia, and Oluchukwu Catherine, contributed a goal each to make the routing of the Guineans a done deal.

The Nigerian U-17 Flamingoes will travel to Conakry on January 19 for the second leg of the encounter, towards qualification for the FIFA U-17  tournament in November 2008.
