Nigeria to witness unusual things in 2008 - Adeboye
Naijawire.com - Nigerian should brace themselves up for unusual things this year, going by the predictions made by the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor E.A Adeboye, at the special 2007 watch night service held at the RCCG redemption camp.
According the Pastor Adeboye, “God will do a new thing in Nigeria this year,” and “if we, His children, will continue to pray, the hot spots in Nigeria will begin to cool down”. Pastor Adeboye further urged Nigerians to be full of prayers for President Umaru Yar’Adua this year. He warned that “floods in 2008 may be more than what was witnessed in 2007 in the international scene,” stressing that “to be forewarned is to be forearmed”.
“We must also pray against the return of destructive hurricanes this year,” he added. The General Overseer said that 2008 would witness major medical and scientific breakthroughs around the world and Nigerians must pray against destructive hurricanes coming back this year. On a personal note, the RCCG General Oveerseer predicted that some people will witness accelerated promotion this year, while others will have a deeper knowledge of the Word of God. He further declared that partnership with God will be rewarded with God fighting individual battles for those that trust and rely on Him [God].
This year, “My wind shall be behind you pushing you forward and not in front of you”.
